Register Your Bike
Registering your bike in a national database helps to decrease the incidence of bike theft in Pacific Beach and our neighboring communities.
Visit the Bike Index website to create an account. Submit your name, bike manufacturer, serial number, and component information to enter your bike into the database.
If your bike is ever stolen, pawn shops or other potential buyers will be able to cross-reference the serial number with the database when a bike thief tries to sell it. Police also have access to the bike registry database to help with bike recovery.
